1. Service Description

DesignYourBot is a no-code trading strategy platform that enables users to create, test, and manage trading strategies using a visual drag-and-drop interface. The platform provides access to various technical indicators including, but not limited to:

  • MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)
  • RSI (Relative Strength Index)
  • EMA (Exponential Moving Average)
  • SMA (Simple Moving Average)
  • Bollinger Bands
  • Stochastic Oscillator
  • And other technical indicators

Users can combine these indicators to create custom trading strategies, backtest them against historical market data, and potentially deploy them on supported exchanges. The platform is currently in alpha stage and functionality may change without notice.

2. No Financial Advice

DesignYourBot does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice.

The platform is provided exclusively as a tool for strategy creation and backtesting. We do not:

  • Recommend specific trading strategies or securities
  • Provide investment advice or financial recommendations
  • Guarantee that any strategy will generate profits
  • Monitor or validate the performance of user-created strategies
  • Offer predictions or forecasts about market movements

All trading decisions are solely your responsibility. You should conduct your own research and consult with qualified financial advisors before making any trading decisions. The indicators and tools provided are educational resources only and should not be considered as trading recommendations.

3. Risk Disclaimer

Trading and investing carry substantial risk of loss.

You acknowledge and accept the following risks:

  • Market Risk: Asset prices fluctuate and can decrease rapidly. Any strategy, including those created on DesignYourBot, may result in significant losses.
  • Backtesting Limitations: Historical backtesting results do not guarantee future performance. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
  • Liquidity Risk: Not all trading pairs have sufficient liquidity. You may be unable to execute trades at expected prices.
  • Technical Risk: System outages, delays, or errors may prevent you from executing or canceling trades at intended times.
  • Exchange Risk: Third-party exchanges and brokers may be subject to regulatory changes, technical issues, or closure.
  • Overfitting Risk: Strategies that perform well in backtests may perform poorly with real market data due to curve fitting and changing market conditions.
  • Leverage Risk: If using leveraged trading, losses can exceed your initial investment.

You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose completely.

4. User Responsibilities

By using DesignYourBot, you agree to:

Security & Credentials

  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Never share your passwords, API keys, or authentication tokens
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized account access
  • Use only secure connections when accessing your account

Compliance with Laws

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Ensure trading is legal in your country or region
  • Pay all applicable taxes on trading profits
  • Verify that exchange integrations comply with local regulations

Legitimate Use

  • Use the platform only for lawful trading and strategy creation
  • Not attempt to manipulate markets or engage in fraud
  • Not use automated tools to access the platform in violation of these terms

5. Intellectual Property

Your Strategies

You retain full ownership of all trading strategies you create on DesignYourBot. We claim no ownership or rights to the strategies themselves. You may:

  • Use your strategies for any lawful purpose
  • Share or sell your strategies (at your discretion)
  • Export your strategy configurations

Platform IP

All platform components, code, design, graphics, and features are the exclusive intellectual property of DesignYourBot. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

User Content

By creating strategies on our platform, you grant DesignYourBot a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use aggregated, anonymized data from your strategies for platform improvement, analytics, and research purposes. Your strategy logic remains confidential and encrypted.

6. Service Availability

DesignYourBot is currently in alpha stage. We make no guarantees regarding uptime or availability.

No SLA

The platform is provided on an "as-is" basis without service level agreements. The platform may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues without advance notice.

Data Backup

While we implement reasonable data protection measures, we recommend that you maintain backups of all important strategy configurations and data.

Third-Party Services

The platform depends on third-party services including cloud providers and cryptocurrency exchanges. We are not responsible for outages or unavailability of these services.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DESIGNYOURBOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Trading Losses

DesignYourBot is not liable for any trading losses, regardless of cause, including losses resulting from:

  • Use of strategies created on the platform
  • Inaccurate backtesting results
  • Market volatility or adverse price movements
  • System failures or delays in trade execution
  • Incorrect indicator calculations

Data Loss

We are not liable for loss, corruption, or unavailability of user data, strategy configurations, or historical backtest results.

Cap on Liability

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is less.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use DesignYourBot to:

  • Engage in illegal activities or violate any applicable laws
  • Manipulate markets, engage in wash trading, or commit fraud
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to platform systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract platform source code
  • Perform security testing without explicit written permission
  • Use the platform for any commercial purpose without authorization
  • Circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code

9. Termination

Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion. Upon termination, your strategies and data will be deleted unless you export them first.

Termination by DesignYourBot

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • You engage in illegal or fraudulent activity
  • You violate exchange terms of service
  • You attempt unauthorized access to platform systems
  • We are required to do so by law or regulation
  • We cease operations (in which case we will provide notice if practical)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We may retain user data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DesignYourBot, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the platform
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your trading activities and losses
  • Your infringement of third-party rights
  • Claims that your strategies violate applicable laws

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in the United States for any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform.

However, you acknowledge that trading activities may be subject to the laws of other jurisdictions, and you are solely responsible for compliance with local regulations.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DesignYourBot regarding your use of the platform.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in the future.
